The White Stripes read the Evening Standard
Clearly encouraged by the imminent arrival of the East London Line, the White Stripes are playing a one-off gig at the Rivoli Ballroom on Tuesday, according to this.
Bit late for Brockley Max and no word whether the Cosmic Sausages will be the support act.

Thats wicked - SE4 is becoming the bohemian uber-cool place to be! Next thing Kate Moss and Drugface Doherty will be busking on Hilly Fields...
Nah, Brockley is soooo understated cool that even Cocaine Kate doesn't know about it yet. We fly under the radar (see 'undiscovered gem' thread ;)
ohhhhhhh Whatever next The Stones playing the Woolwich tramshed........
yeah - except the Rivoli isn't in Brockley - it;s in Crofton Park so nyah. Next thing you'll be annexing east Dulwich as yours..
Cor blimey, not this old chestnut again. Crofton park is the historic centre of brockley, next to brockley cemetary, on brockley road, home to the brockley jack pub and the brockley offices of many estate agents, five mins walk from the brockley conservation area. It's part of brockley, just happens to have a different station. It's not a competition! Don't suppose you'll mind your house price rising when the east london line comes to BROCKLEY.
Yeah, you tell 'em! At least someone here has done their homework on Wikipedia ;)
