My spies tell me there are new chefs at the Ladywell Tavern today - so a good Sunday lunch is guaranteed!

Is it in the Church opposite the petrol station?
These are the two new chefs!
Along the side passage of St. Johns, off Lewisham way.
Must be one of the 2 big churches in the conservation area. At Peters or the one near the railway further up Wickham (St Andrews?)
....On further examination, I think it must be St Peters, it's a bit grimy looking from all the traffic which piles past. St Andrews is a bit cleaner I think..
Looks like the church on the left-hand spur of Upper Brockley Road, on the way to Luxmore Gardens from the station.
That chef is my brother and he is a brilliant chef - sorry for shameless plug but it is true.
Let's hope the food improves from a tough, undercooked roast pork belly we had to send back the other Sunday, and a dreadful bacon and chicken salad I was served one lunchtime. When a place serves up bad food twice in a row, I certainly won't be giving them the opportunity to do it a third time.

Time to put you all out of your misery: Fred was right, it's St John's Church.
Nowt wrong with the Food at the ladywell tavern, Chris (good looking black Chef) and his team will have a new menu from February and there will be weekly specials and meal deals too.. If they get things wrong fair enough but they will always try and please any unsatisfied customers... give em a chance, I've had bad meals there too when the crackhead looking chef was there but he's gone now... :-) I've had 3 roasts since Christmas (incl the Pork) and they've all been lovely
