Brockley voters flock to the polls
If you're registered to vote but aren't sure which polling station to use today, this list might help (NB: PDF document). (Woulda worked better as a map, Lewisham Council - maybe next time?)

Flock?
From what I've seen it's a trickle at best. Turn out will be pathetic.
And that's not surprising considering the uninspiring bunch we have to choose from.
I saw Catman go in to the cheap side polling station to cast his vote for the nice man on the billboard by the railway bridge.
What a long ballot paper. I hadn't realised that the voting system had changed this time - I was all prepared to work down the list ranking candidates but all you have to do it pick one this time. And yet it's still some sort of proportional system. Hmmm.
I voted Green. I hope they do well.
I was all alone when I voted this morning at Tidemill School. So no flocking there either.
PS Frankham Street is now now the Frankham Street "Parking Boulevard" I see. No parking for my bicycle I noted; More joined up thinking from LBL.
Perhaps the idea could be spread to Brockley. I hear there are particularly bad parking problems on Manor Avenue.
The 'flock' was somewhat ironic - as you'd know if you follow my Twitter feed ...!
twitter feed? You Kate? Don't be ridiculous, I can't see you as a nerdy type...
Tidemill School was quite busy when I voted this morning. The European ballot is the same system as last time, the proportional aspect being between the parties.
When I voted at the Revelon road polliing station I was the only person there! Abit eary really, the two attendants 'watched' me make my vote and 'cast' it in the rather shabby looking box.
The list of people they registered before me must of only been about 20 people - not too good considering I left for work at 8.50am
did you vote BNP to keep the UKIP out?
'twas quiet at the waller raod polling station too - but to be fair I did see lots of people clutching their voter's reg form erm well by lots I mean 4! Maybe everyone is voting in the eve??
There were a fair amount of people voting at the portacabin by Lewisham college and that was mid afternoon.
I suppose you can’t knock the bnp for not overcoming some of their fears. After all any successful candidate will have to spend a lot of time in Brussels mingling with foreigners, eating foreign food and perhaps having to learn French.
Not that this should detract from the fact that they are a nasty bunch of delinquents unworthy of a single vote.
There was a bit of protest non voting going on at ours. Not something I see myself ever agreeing with.
