Rather wish we had got tickets to the Orchard. Instead we went to the Rivoli which wasn't quite what we expected.
Still, everyone from Aunty Peg reminiscing about the war to little Jack in his nappy seemed to enjoy themselves and we made the most of it as well thanks to the cheap rum.
Happy New Year.
I must pay a visit to The Orchard soon. It would be rude not to.
I went to Jam Circus and the hangover was atrocious the next day - the photos revealed dancing around at 3am with a giant glittery stiletto on my head and action at the fruit machine in Maxim chicken next door....(awful place). Would deffo do the JC again next year, we all had great fun with 4 out of a posse of 10 pulling...not bad odds!
The Jam Circus do was excellent, it was such a good atmosphere everyone was dancing, mad props to Dj Safronella, he knows how to get a party started and going.
People were in fancy dress, it was diverse crowd ages, race, a real spirit of Brockley.
Well done Richard and the gang for a great New Year's Eve. My feet were killing me from 4 hours of non-stop dancing.
Great film!
A stylish film, was the evening any good?
It was a great night, great mix of Brockleyites, great music, great dancing, great drinking... and a great big hangover the next day!!!
Going out... that explains it! There were a couple of people in fancy dress at the Orchard who must have gone to both parties!
It's like a inverse version of 'The Streets of Brockley'.
CCTV when you're partying.
Great film, I knew a few customers who bought tickets for both places, including the beturbanned gent at the end. Several started in Wetherspoons for cheap pre-drinks in costume too. My favourite NYE so far, trying to sort through photos, glad people enjoyed it.
Well done Richard, looking forward to the JC snaps, well sort of.
Glad people enjoyed my DJing! It was a great night. Well done Ed.
Are you DJ Safronella?
Those photos are here now, made me giggle, still more to come from other cameras.
Paddyom, is it one of your group with the stiletto on their head?
Great pics Richard from yet another superb Jam Circus event. Great people, great tunes and a awesome atmosphere :D
