Brockley MAX 2010 - help needed

The Brockley MAX arts festival is gearing up for 2010. Planning meetings take place on the following dates:

  • Feb 9th 8pm The Orchard, Harefield Road, SE4
  • March 9th 8pm The Ladywell Tavern, Ladywell Road, SE13
  • April 6th 8pm Brockley Social Club, 240 Brockley Road, SE4
MAX organiser Moira is also looking for some help with their website. She writes:

We are looking for a web designer to update the Brockley Max website. It’s in Wordpress, but if they would like to redo the site using something different, we don’t mind. No money of course, but it would be a great way to promote their skills and they’ll have a warm glow from helping the community.

If you're interested, please email them here.

That's a great idea, anon. What do you think, Moira? Worth a try?

How long ago? People have day jobs and may be unable to get around to contacting you until the following weekend.

Aero-static - did you email me yesterday evening? I will reply, and Tamsin's right, I do have a day job with no access to my Outlook at work. I also have the B Max meeting tonight, so it may be tomorrow. Can you wait until then?

The web site needs to be redone in the next couple of weeks and requires daily updating in the month of May as we near the festival. It wouldn't be fair to put this much pressure on young students and I need to be certain of people's commitment with something as important as the web site.

Hi Moira - I'll be there tonight so we can chat about it then. What you describe sounds fine.

Thanks to everyone who came to the meeting and great to see some new faces. We now have a web designer, a poster designer, raffle prize finder and a stall organiser - so thanks to them.

And there were some great ideas for events, which if you email us(address on website) we'll keep you up to date with.
