Harefield Road fills up

It looks like the first of our predictions for 2010 is coming to pass. We foretold that the last of the three new units on Harefield Road would at last find an occupant, after years of lying vacant. A small property, its potential uses are limited, and it's more likely to become an office than a shop.

We believed that, given the great setting, the upswing in the economy and the arrival of the ELL, it was only a matter of time before someone swooped, even given the constraints.

Now, estate agents John Payne say that the property is under offer and The Orchard and The Shop on the Hill could soon have new neighbours.

Residential property prices have increased (in the past three months) in just 7% of UK postcodes - and SE4 is one of them.
An increase of 1.5% is more promising than a fall. http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/house-prices-postcodes

Yeah we've been getting more and more of those letters from estate agents informing us that someone is looking for a property just like ours on Manor Ave...

They always say they've just sold one. You look online and nope, no they haven't. To be fair, some of these agents must be living on value baked beans.

The popular comment layout is common, so it is easily recognized scanning to post a comment. If the comment section is in a different format, then I am going to spend more time trying to decipher what everything means.

But what a strange couple of sentences. Where you try to grasp at the meaning and the words turn into tadpoles and wriggle away from you.

I picked up some of that Brockley chocolate from TSOTH for Valentines. I am hoping for big things from Brockley this year but fear the BX will hold us back.

Whatever enterprise takes over I hope its worthily useful or highly frivolous.

I've heard that the unit is being taken by an estate agent, not necessarily bad news but nothing as exciting as The Orchard or Shop on the Hill unfortunately.
