Local businesses shortlisted for Lewisham Business Awards 2010

The finalists for the Lewisham Business Awards 2010 have been announced. Local heroes Babur, the Broca, the Ladywell Tavern, Geddes Salon (twice) and the Shop on the Hill are among those shortlisted.

Best pub is a welcome new category this year but in a borough where (perhaps with the happy exception of Brockley) pubs have continued to struggle in the last year, it's a shame only three pubs are shortlisted - and if Jam Circus entered then they were robbed.

Here's the full list. The winners are announced on March 11th, when a £5,000 prize will be awarded to the overall winner.
