Hilly Fields Summer Fayre 2010
The Brockley Society's showpiece event of the summer is coming soon. Whether it's the rodeo sheep or the vegetable modelling that takes your fancy, be there on June 19th.
GET INVOLVED - A MESSAGE FROM BROCSOC:
Volunteers: We need stewards, car marshalls, programme sellers, litter collectors, helpers on the tea stall, and elsewhere. Please ring or email Clare (020 8692 3829, chair@brockleysociety.org.uk) if you can help on the day. We need several hundred people in shifts, so state what you can do, at what time, in three-hour slots.
Cakes: Please make cakes and bring them on the day! Our tea stall is one of the main attractions and depends on donated cakes from large numbers of people.

Well lets hope the weather picks up.
This seems to get better and better. Just what are "rodeo sheep"?
Look it up on youtube - it looks like an endearing mix of animal and child cruelty! Fun though :-)
Really looking forward to this, i really enjoyed it last yr. The vegatable modelling is hilarious!
Hope they have a steel band again this year.
If I can get my act together I'll submit a cake, a theme free victoria sponge.
Gotta get backing and donate some fairy cakes.
.. sorry baking! ...
I see Extreme Falconry are back too.
