What's brought this on?
Someone asked for it and it's a good idea.
Hi I asked about it, i've just moved to Brockley and i do freelance illustration/printmaking. I normally work at home but we've got cream carpets everywhere so its just not a good idea. thought it might be something other people in the area are interested in or know people elsewhere that have studio space. its normally a word of mouth thing anyway so just thought i'd ask!
Cheers!
Not sure how the set up works but there is what I think is in effect an artists' collective leasing part of the top floor of the Telegraph Hill Centre. Might be worth calling in there just to enquire...
What's the going rate per hour? As I'd be prepared to rent out my flat in the day, whilst at work. There are top of the range kitchen and toilet facilities plus a garden and I can pop go to IKEA to fit a workspace.
nothing to offer just yet, but perhaps in the future if a few things pay off...
this IS a good idea!
Lewisham Art House has studio space available. Good light and pretty cheap!

Slightly different work space required. I'm an Osteopath and looking for somewhere to start a small clinic 2 half days a week, unfortunately my flat isn't suitable. Does anyone know anywhere with space available that could be used as a treatment room 2 half days a week. I would need to keep a hydraulic plinth there at all times though.
Thanks!
Seems that there is a preponderance of artists who want somewhere to splash paint about and generally make a mess.
I saw a place like that in a mews. A big shed divided into studios by plywood partitions. Seemed ideal for that sort of thing.
But, what about folk who just need a desk in an office type environment without having to go into town?
Two quite different and incompatible types of workspace, I think.
Starting a small company for complimentary therapists looking for a space to work from in the area, can anyone help?
This is a response to the Osteopath looking for a space to work. We have a lovely back sitting room which we hardly use and would make a nice place to have a treatment room. We live in Nunhead, but the Brockly side. Does this sound interesting?
Magi has a sign in the window - they have a room for rent for treatments etc - might suit the Osteopath or Jan?
Thanks Emhall. That's a lovely offer but I don't know how it'd work out with your insurance etc... I'd have to have a good look into it.
Thanks fabhat - I'll definitely check that out.
Thanks for the tip will check out Maggie's this week end.
I've set-up a small video production company and am looking for a small office/studio in the area which I hope to share with some other media/creative types.
If anyone has space on offer or would like to think about sharing space, please get in touch.

I might be able to help, you The Pockett. I have 2 self catering rentals in Brockley but they're not always rented every day - there are often a few odd days or a week on the trot where one or the other is free. It's quiet and we have free wifi. It might have to be a bit ad hoc though.. I can't commit to days too far in advance in case I get a booking - but generally if there's only a gap of 2 days no one is likely to book that.
Details of rental on http://www.hillyfieldslondonvacationrental1.iowners.net/
Ignore the rates - that's for overnight stays and providing bed linen etc...etc..
Drop me a line on the contact address there and we can see if we can fit in with eachother.
I can't offer any space, but I can offer a large studio table (1.5m x 3m) for free, very sturdy with a storage shelf under the table top.
We're very sad to see it go, but we no longer use the studio.
It's available now for pick up in Deptford, as mentioned, this is for free, we don't want any money, just a good home for a trusty table!
Hello. It looks like I have just sorted out a studio space in Ashby Mews and would be happy to share with another creative.
Let me know if you're interested.

I just moved to Brockley couple of weeks ago. I sew a bit and do some needle crafts as a hobby but my sewing machine is a little noisy so I can't sew at my home which i share with 3 others. I really need some work space to design and work. That would be fabulous!
