Well done for taking it in. If no-one comes forward, the Celia Hammond rescue centre on Lewisham Way, opposite the end of Wickham Road, is the best place to take it. They can also check if it's microchipped.
Responsible owners don't usually let kittens out on their own (though it may have got out accidentally, of course), so it may have been abandoned.
There are posters up for a lost kitten on St Margrets Road, could be the same one? They have been up for a little whole though.
erm, a little while, obvs.
Responsible owners get them used to shitting outside sooner rather than later!
or you could read that as "People who enjoy blinded children get them used to sh***ing in other people's gardens ..."
Or even "irresponsible parents let their kids stick their fingers in cat shit"
Celia Hammond's were advertising in the news shopper, asking if anybody wanted a cat as they were full.
There are two lost budgies about somewhere as well, according to a poster on Harefield Road. Poor little things, I don't give much for their chances given the number of cats and foxes roaming round Brockley.
As well as other birds.
"lost" or did mummy suck them up in the Hoover and couldn't find replacements before the kids got home?
Tressilliana, How long have the lost budgie signs been up? I know 2 were found in East Dulwich a few weeks ago.
Hope the little kitten finds it's owners.

You could try Lewisham Animal Welfare, to see if somebody has reported him missing to them.
There is a poster up in the Hill Station Cafe on Telegraph Hill for a lost cat. Perhaps this is the one? I think it belongs to someone called Kay. There's a number on the poster. Hope this helps.
The St Margarets Road missing cat was found safe and well and is home again.
I noticed the lost budgie posters for the first time yesterday. I think the birds went missing very recently. Cage door left open, if I recall correctly.
I was on hillyfields last week and noticed a 'lost tortoise' poster.
Can anyone explain to me how the hell do you lose a tortoise?
"Can anyone explain to me how the hell do you lose a tortoise?"
Apparently it ran off!
Scooped out, they make excellent fruit bowls.
And ashtrays. Cats cry when you stub your fag out on them.
I vaguely remember seeing a poster for a lost black kitten with a sparkly collar on Shardeloes Road. Will check to see if the poster is still there.
There only slow because they want to be.Its like dogs and humans, they go out, one has a poop one picks it up,you tell me who the master is.
We've looked for the lost black kitten poster on Shardeloes Road but couldn't find it. If you call the Celia Hammond Animal Trust on Lewisham Way (020 8691 2100) you could check if anyone has reported a lost black kitten. Good luck.
Any further news? Has this kitten been reunited with its owner yet?
