Danger, BXU

Work has started on the Brockley Cross Upgrade. Bricks laid straight and Conway's stuff mostly on the road, rather than straddling the pavements. So far, so good.

Very good news. Hopefully the new improved Brockley Cross will be less chaotic.

I understand that due to an increasing number of minor accidents in the area, insurance premiums for residents are increasing.

Very strong argument in favour of a CPZ as it would reduce the number of commuters.

I really hope the new-improved BX will encourage nicers shops / restaurants to join the area ... it would be nice to have a reason to go there

I hope they do a better job than of the station steps, which regularly flood outside the ticket office and are slowley sliding into the road!
