St Stephen's School Fayre, July 7th
Polly writes:
St Stephen's CE School (Albyn Road) is having its Summer Fayre this Saturday, 7 July, from 1pm to 4pm. Everyone is welcome - there will be plenty of attractions (bouncy castle, under 5s play area, games for all ages, face painting and cupcake decorating to name a few) and a great choice of food and treats to eat. What's more, this year the fayre will be opened by actor Ben Willbond, of 'Horrible Histories' fame, so come early if your children (or you!) are fans of the show.

if I had a pound for every person who thinks that reusing this graphic is clever etc etc . .
If I had a pound for every time a cynical anon posted something here telling us how crap everything is...
If i had a pound for everyone trying to gain the moral high ground . . .
If I had a pound for everyone who said I was secretly making a pound from my posts...
True that, you'd have about a fiver
...to go and spend at the St. Stephen's Fayre I hope ;)
You do make a pound, from the sponsored links.
5 pounds buys you an artisan bun.
Six pounds.
Well, home made treats and cake will be sold at the Fayre for 50p or £1 so you should be fine...
How much fare does £1 get you at the fayre?
£1 will get you two raffle tickets, or two ice creams, 3 minutes on the bouncy castle, a load of bric-a-brac or 3 shots at the goalie... I'm just guessing... Plant and book stalls have really good bargains.
haha, this is all so good
The 'keep calm and carry on' message was disliked at the time - considered patronising - so is odd is being used to evoke ?cosy nostalgia.
Also, being used in ways that seem pointless
'Keep calm and do a survey' is one up at my work. Why wouldn't one be calm when doing a survey?
Rant over.
Keep calm and eat vegetarian. Shouldn't be too difficult...
In the interest of balance
Keep calm and eat meat
Keep Calm and eat a Vegetarian.
Keep calm and carrion.
Any event with "Keep Calm..." in the title will keep Lou, who has been known to take out a bus queue with an Uzi when not finding a pair of matching socks, away. It's not all bad.
I am a bit tired of the keep calm thing... nice colours though
