The Antiques Shop
117 Tanners Hill
The shop, which doesn't really have a proper name, just an old 'antiques' sign above the door, sells a mixture of curios and vintage clothing.

I've always wanted to go to this shop, it looks so cool!
it's a pretty cool shop (if you manage to find it open) but in my experience most of the clothes aren't vintage - more 'nice' second hand
Really great clothes, this woman has a very good eye. Always has an interesting window display. But cool ? It's not cool if you repeatedly go during normal business hours and it's never open. That's not quirky, it's annoying. It doesn't need to be open all day every day but a sign saying when on earth it is open would dispel the impression given right now that te owner disdains such dull considerations, like when customers can actually get in to the place.
This is one of the better kept secrets of the area. Been there for years, and always brilliant.
Shouldn't there be bronze lions sitting atop the wheelie bins, which form the grand entrance to the establishment?
I grew up round the corner and walked past it everyday on my way to school!! i thought it was soooooo intriguing. one day i plucked up the courage to go in there and noticed the owner had a copy of London Calling by the Clash on the wall i asked her if she liked it and she then told me this story of her sister's ex-husband producing the album and giving her that copy as a gift!!!!!!! if u know anything about the clash you'll know that bloke was a mental GENIUS obviously!!! (btw--If u end up going inside and dont like any of the clothes it would be soooo worth it just to see the way shes decorated and all the random stuff/antiques she has in there!!!)
Didn't the owner used to own the florist's on the corner of Brockley Cross opposite dukes' aswell?? Lady with a little white scottie dog? Its now an internet cafe or somthin?
