The Greenspaces Map
Greenspaces is BC's attempt to document and map the local bits of public greenery. The Greenspaces map is now live on Google Maps. Most of the markers now have links through to the corresponding articles on Brockley Central, to provide images and comment.

You can visit it here and we have added to our list of hotlinks.
There are a few glaring gaps on the map, which is still waiting for articles about the likes of the Telegraph Hill parks, Nunhead Cemetery, Greenwich Park and Blackheath to be added - we'll be filling those holes in soon.

Nice!
Lovely secret idylls now exposed. Nice!
A few more to the south can be seen on https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid=201955415349702756987.0004a7f0453ac3ca8faff&msa=0&ll=51.442881,-0.048923&spn=0.071687,0.117931
Cheers Michael, some good suggestions there, which I will hopefully get round to featuring one day.
This is sort of greenspaces related. Has anyone seen any Sloe berries around? I need a couple more. Any tips greatly received.
Thames path in Thamesmead, near the golf centre. Loads of sloes. Roundabout at the M2 junction with the A249, more sloes on the verge. Probably full of toxic stuff though!.
It's a pity that Brockley Hill Park is inaccessible to those living around it. Questionable if this should be included in that case.
Or perhaps they could be encouraged to have an open day? There is plenty of neighbourhood interest into this lost idyll.
