Toes Ask Back Home

"Toes Ask" the shop that lurks just by the railway bridge on Brockley Road and has become known for a graffiti tag, in lieu of any other signage, is finally being restored, ready for use.

The unit is owned by Network Rail, who have neglected it for many years, making the building uninhabitable, but work is currently under way to bring it back in to use. Brockley Station attracts huge and growing footfall, but there are still relatively few units nearby to cater for that customer base, so another shop or cafe space in that spot will be welcome.

Where is the location of this exactly?

Fantastic! Apparently the last time this building was used was briefly in 2005 and since then, Lewisham Council has allowed Network Rail to let it fall into disrepair....

I hope whoever takes it on continues to call it Toes Ask. Good name for a shoe shop?
