Mellow kitty

Simon, from St Asaph's Road, has found a kitten. He says:

A small tabby cat/kitten has turned up in our back garden and appears to have no home. She is very affectionate and looks well cared for. We have trawled round all the local roads asking people if they have lost a cat but to no avail. We suspect she may have been abandoned. We would keep her but we already have a cat who is very territorial.

Please email Simon if you are her owner.

I'm a member of the cinnamon trust. I should be able to look after it if you can't find the owner.

You could contact Lewisham Animal Welfare, they'll be able to scan her and would know if he's been reported missing.

What a sweetie! Celia Hammond Animal Trust or the vet's on Shardeloes Road should be able to scan her for a chip.

If the cat is fit and health and not distressed she was probably doing what cats do and exploring beyond her own own ..and part of that was in your garden.. it does not mean she is lost. Many cats 'get' lost this way! If you must hang on to her (putting her back is better.. she will in all likelihood find her way home).. do a found poster and letter box doors two or three streets around.. that is much better than word of mouth...

Kill her now before she kills any garden birds.

If you take her to John Hankinson they will check if she microchipped. There's no charge for this and it only takes 5 mins to do.
