Telegraph Hill Book Sale, January 10th

Thanks, Nick. Just to say that we've nearly done the sorting and there's some really interesting stuff, boxes and boxes of history & biography, science & natural history, religion etc. And suddenly in the last day or two after we were getting quite worried loads and loads of children's books. Also got a significant amount of what we've classed as "vintage" - fiction hard-backs and paperbacks from the 1950s and earlier.

Cheque for over £600 sent off to Crisis so many thanks to all who either came and bought or helped by spreading the word. Large number of books left over - still some great stuff in there - watch this space for where you can have another look and chance to buy.
In fact, some of the children's books have gone to Edmund Waller for the sale in aid of 999 club and there are three crates of excellent hardback cookery books and publications foodie and bibulous in the Hill Station, to be browsed at leisure and picked up for whatever you feel like donating.
