Depends what's in the sandwiches. If they're ham they should probably be kept away from the Mulsim and Jewish designated areas. Perhaps they should only allow dainty little cucumber jobs with the crusts cut off, but that would probably spark class war...

Jon S's dishes do sound nice, but I prefer the old fashioned hunk a meat, marinated in some bbq sauce, herbs, garlic, chilli etc shoved on a proper bbq (none of these gas fired things), turned frequently for a lovely smokin' flavour....

Are we talking a bangers barbecue or one with a slight gourmet flavour too?

e.g. poached salmon with orange, lime and mango. (get a side of salmon, stick it in alfoil resting on a cabbage leaf, place some orange and lime slices on top, pour over a little mango juice, close the alfoil and cook for 10 minutes)

and of course chocolate and booze bananas (pierce a banana, stick some chocolate drops in it and add some spirits, cointreau, grand mariner, rum.......)
