also went to Wellbeloved for the first time - unbelievable that it has been in the same family since 1820s - nice chap - good meat - but not the clock..
First I thought it was nr Acorn estates, by the roundabout in Crofton Park; but now I'm thinking it's up that way too - nr Babur the takeaway - not the restaurant.
Estate agents in Brockley seem to be closing down at a great rate; King Sturge has vanished overnight, and Jones & Verdi hasn't been open for some time...
Pure guesswork - that sign looks old and the Estate Agent bit may be a red herring, as it might refer to a former occupant. There used to be an estate agency in the building where Toad's Mouth 2 is now but I don't remember the clock from there. The other contender that comes to mind, based on the architecture of the building and the look of the sign, is Bowditch & Sons, 1 Stondon Park - but I see from the internet that that's SE23 so it's probably not there.
Oops, I neglected to declare a winner on this one, didn't I?
I'm not exactly sure where some of your suggestions are (eg. anonymous #1) but I think TJ and Fabhat are on the right track - it's just south of Crofton Park on Brockley Rd, on the same side as the Babur takeaway (if you're heading south, it's on the left). Above a doctor's surgery. No sign of an estate agent's in the building ...

About 2 minutes past 7, outside the Estate Agents

I believe it is above the betting shop opposite the new Portlands place.

the estate agents on the opposite side of the road from Babur, at the far reaches of brockley road?

Basically a long-winded way of saying - dunno.

Argh, sorry, just checked a map, Tressiliana clearly got it too! I never realised that part of the road was called Stondon Park ...
I think this is next to the lovely take away that sells Pigeon and Chips and Dog Leg kebab.
It's handy having the clock as a focal point when ordering the ambulance...
