Nice flyer.
I fancy a some tea and a slice of cake right now.
Flyer quite good, tea good.
Flyer quite good, tea good.
Hugh - why don't you go along and help, instead of being sarcastic?
Prefer playing to my strengths.
Create new strengths, broaden your horizons. I'm sure the seniors will enjoy your particular brand of sardonic humour.
Went very well. They deserved more people coming with the publicity effort put in, but those who did attend had a great time.
From the e-mail sent to some involved...
"Just thought you might like to know that Winnie from Darling Road rang Gillian this morning to say how much she had enjoyed the party. She described everything that happened with great enthusiasm and in great detail, including all performers - and Marlene Dietrich. She is looking forward to next year. Well done to all who contributed one way or the other, but particularly to Kate who oversaw all the organisation. It feels good to have tried a new activity that was enjoyed by the participants and gives us pointers for improvements next time. It was also good that so many people helped to make the afternoon successful."
