Ashby Mews studios approved

The live / work development proposed for Ashby Mews has been approved by Lewisham Council.

The plans, which will create two new two-storey homes and studio spaces along a cratered stretch of mews, had met some opposition from local residents, concerned about their gardens being overlooked. However, sympathetic development of Brockley's mews is the right way forward.

This scheme is of high-quality and should prevent the mews being treated as a dumping ground, as well as providing new homes and space for local enterprise.

Well done! Much nicer than the other end of Ashby mews which seems to be becoming more industrial by the day

Yes Well done- The Sympathetic development of the Mews is something that we should be aiming for together with a closer monitoring of the "expansion" of some of the more industrial type businesses

It's not good for everyone. But as long as we're alright Jack. Who gives a shit! Who needs friends, neighbours, community, decent art peoples rights or even due process.

As long as we can wax lyrical both our flawed opinions and ironical mustaches, along pastiche cobbled streets, a wash with a sea of rainbow fixers.

Whilst downing our new world wines and local micro brews, over houmous, flat breads and shit art, then we are truly yesterday before today has even begun.

So you hate "new world" wine and locally brewed beer. So all alcohol then?

Waitrose please!

That's rather telling that you believe that encompasses all alcohol.

so alcohol brewed in SE4 is terrible, alcohol brewed in NZ, AUS etc is terrible. presumably if the mews dwellers drank french wine it would be OK? still dont understand the point. sounds like a classic whinge.
