Brockley Nature Reserve open this weekend

Steve Cleall, volunteer at the reserve writes:

The Nature Reserve will be open this Saturday from 10.30am until 3pm.  Come on down and have a wander around!

I am sorry to report that sometime in the last week or so a group of people (and I use that term loosely) took it upon themselves to broke into the tool shed and clean it out.  They took everything!  All the tools, gloves, BBQ, Kettle, Tea, Coffee, Squash, tables, chairs and the Biscuits!

But I will be there this Saturday from 10.30am until 3pm with the front gates open...

So sorry to hear. Would you welcome donations of used (but still usable) garden tools?

The people smashed the lock so once the lock broke it was just the case of opening the doors.

Of course if you would to donate any unwanted garden tools or garden chairs and tables, I would welcome your gift. You can bring them around the next time we are open on the 8th June from 10.30am until 3pm.
I just like to thank a wonderful man who came round and drop off tea bags, biscuits, milk, coffee and squash.

Came down to see the reserve at lunchtime, no one was there save a throng of disappointed flaneurs. The gates were well and truly locked. What happened?
