Faces of Lewisham: The Pink House
Faces of Lewisham is an online photographic archive built by the Lewisham Local History and Archive Centre. It contains a beautiful shot of Brockley's most eccentric house (located on Lewisham Way) and its owner, Brenton Pink. They explain:
Mr. Pink is a retired refuse collector who came to Britain from Jamaica in the fifties. “He lives in an extraordinary house in Lewisham. Inspired by a mixture of dreams, memories of his childhood and his religion, he has decorated his Victorian mansion with his own unique designs.

That's the house in its heyday, before Mr Pink took to screaming at nothing from his porch.
@Kolp - and you said all your best material gets modded. Deleting posts like this would surely be a crime akin to burning down the Library of Congress.
@kolp
That certainly is your best ever post...
but you missed the third 'doodoo' out of the first line.
That house seems to have deteriorated somewhat since that photo was taken, it looks colourful and well kept there... It's that the shouty man in the photo?
I used to deliver milk to his house when I was a teenager (I was a milkboy). He ordered 7 gold-tops.
Cats?
HH, you'll be relieved to learn that he, shouty man, is redecorating at the moment. The gateposts have increased in size with plastering and turned a bit mushroom shape, and they're being painted orange.
Lewisham way is not Brockley,
also if this man has drawn attention to himself because of possible mental health issues, should BC draw attention to him too?
This idiosyncratic house is either in Lewi central or St Johns. BC like to lay claim to anything in a 20 mile radius or actual Brockley.
Nice link, talking of notable people from the borough of Lewisham apparently our house in Ladywell used to owned by a former Labour Chief Whip Baron Mellish: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Mellish,_Baron_Mellish
Timmy2wheels, go back to St Albans if he scares you so much.
Shouting at pigeons doesn't in itself mean you have mental health issues.
well i lived almost directly opposite that house for some time and my postcode was brockley. i know this house would be lewisham postcode, but it's close enough to be relevant to brockley dwellers interests. no need to split hairs!
I would be careful in that area, several postcode boundaries are in close proximity.
You could easily leave your village without noticing.

Yeah they should, people with mental health issues are still people.
