Wrapping comes off new Brockley Cross restaurant

The restaurant at 95 Endwell Road, which has been hidden behind hoardings for months, has sloughed off its covers to reveal a shiny new coat of paint, suggesting the plans which were proposed back in 2008 are now close to completion.

We don't know any more details at this stage, but it's great to see another site coming to life, particularly since it looks as though it's aiming to be a restaurant, rather than joining the ranks of takeaways in the area.

I see they've gone for the 1970s undertakers look.

Give them a chance. With the right signage and interior it could look quite a nice.

It will never live up to Lithu's establishment next door though ...

Although this appears on the face of it to be good news can we realistically expect this to be anything other than a crap takeaway?

If it was going to be a takeaway I'm not sure they'd bother putting all that effort into restoring the windows. Why not just stick cheap, easy and secure uPVC in?

Any more news about this restaurant? As a Drakefell Road dweller I am waiting with baited breath (and a rumbling tummy) for something exciting to happen!
