That's a bit of bugger, a really great pool. When's the new pool in Lewisham supposed to be ready?
You could come for a swim in Forest Hill. The pool is scheduled to be open in a few weeks time.
Is there a good childen's pool at Forest Hill pool? The sloping one at Deptford is great for toddlers too young to swim.
Bad timing to do this during school holidays, at a time when the sun has suddenly arrived.
Looking forward to taking a dip at the new Forest Hill baths though.
@Robert - it closes in September, when the school holidays are over.
That's really useful to know, thank you! I was going to do (another) front crawl course in the autumn & might think again if there's not a pool I can get to easily pre-work or at lunchtimes.
I hope the refurb sorts out some of the ongoing problems which featured the last time I used it regularly. It has the potential to be a great gym too, using the old library space.
(oops - posted before I read it properly! Glad the 25m pool will still be open)
The Charlton Lido has reopened - a 50m heated pool.

@ Pete, Woolwich Waterfront Leisure Centre and Eltham Leisure centre are good for toddlers.
Last time I went to deptford pool a man was showering naked. Anyone who knows the set up there will know why I was pretty shocked!
When is the Lewisham one opening please?
Robert - they're closing after the holidays. Unlike Peckham's soft play area, which is shutting for August.
