The Brockley X Files
This explains a lot...
The South London Press reports that UFOs were witnessed flying over Brockley Station in the mid-1980s, their superior technology allowing them to predict the rise of Brockley, long before Phil and Kirsty woke up to the charms of SE4.
It is not clear whether these blobs were working class or middle class but it seems likely that they were childless, due to the amount of travelling required for their work.
Thanks to Patrick for beaming this to us.

Do you think they were after some Fried Chicken for the journey home after a great evening out in the capital?
No they would have used the fly through KFC on the Old Kent Road
... or wanting to place a bet ... endless choice here
No, I am NOT related.
Full details of the Brockley sighting here: Close Encounters of the Brockley Kind
It's highly unlikely that this could have been a craft from another galaxy, who occupants were too long without sleep to continue their journey further south - to France say.
C'est vrais, the story has all the feel of a cover-up. However... mingl-mangle-mingle-mangle. You are now entering the twighlight zone. Do not adjust your set.
Strange that Ken Livingstone suddenly appeared around that time. Note the extneded forehead. That moustache. That strangled nasal tone that was probably the result of a high-gravity carbon smothered planet. After all, he did want to make our world theirs. And succeeded.
I think Boris is more alien like, he doesn't even speak like a human
More UFOs in Brockley...this time in the conservation area!

Why do these things always happen when I'm away ... anyone else here see something similar?
