Going for a song at the Amersham Arms

BC reader Miska is organising a vintage open-mic-cum-jumble-sale-and-cake-fest at the Amersham Arms, New Cross.

She says:

Essentially it's a vintage open-mic (Dolly Parton to George Formby to Nina Simone to Johnny Cash, ukuleles and all)... and a jumble sale / vintage market and cake-fest. (Amazing Guinness cake).

It's happening every last Saturday of the month, the next being on the 27th March, 2-6pm.

We've got some stalls not yet taken, and they're only £15, so if anyone wants one, email me or email Tanya if you'd like to come play, sing, bop on our small stage. We've got a blog.

It's all not for profit, and entirely for good old-fashioned fun, and we're taking over the entire upstairs, back room and nightclubby bit of the Amersham Arms.

I misread that as going for a snog...

I'm going whether I get a stall or not.

I misread It as Going for a Bong.

Ever looked up the term mung in the Urban Dictionary?

Very unhealthy.
