OK, I don't get the headline. I'm sure there's a reason but I just don't understand.
It seems like you may not be alone, Hilly. It was supposed to be a reference to Marathon Man "Is it safe?" and the fact that videos often get labelled NSFW (not safe for work). Obviously didn't work. Oh well.
Portentious, moi?
Um, am I just being dense or does it not actually say what charity he's running the marathon for?
Ok, have followed the link to the donations page where it says it's for Guys & St Thomas' and the Evelina Children's Hospital. Might be a good idea to put it in the video itself though?
Too late now, please donate Christine!
Ha, great video. I'm doing the marathon as well. Good luck Duncan.
BenS,
Cheers mate.Good luck to you too. Duncan
Love the film. Love the classical allusions. Love the lycra. I'll be donating.
nice film , I'm running the London Marathon too ( for a MS relsted charity) I'd spend more time running around Hillyfields but it's too small.
I'm also training for a just sub 4hr finish so if there is any runnners out there locally get in touch!

Great little film and great cause will be donating. Just make sure you're all stretching daily, get at least monthly deep tissue/sports massage and get any niggles assessed and treated (osteo/physio) when they occur. Every year about 1-2 weeks before the marathon I get runners booking in for treatment with knee pain they've had for weeks but have trained through 'thinking it would go away' and expect me to sort it out in a week. Some can be treated quickly but some end up pulling out and others run the marathon in pain then never run again. Drives me up the wall. Rant over. Happy training.
Ramble - Thank you very much for your donation, much appreciated. (And thanks for the advice). Duncan
Nice movie. I'm doing the VLM too (aiming for around 3.30hrs). I had been out running round Hilly Fields, but as Running Nutter says, it's too small!
