Squib Box Launch weekend

Federico Reuben is a Brockley-based musician organising a mini-festival in Deptford. He says:

On the evenings of January the 21st and 22nd, the artist led organization/net label Squib-box will be hosting an official launch weekend.

This mini-festival will include a manic mix of performances, interventions, improvisations, films, bar brawls and party games reflecting Squib-box's ethos that avant-garde performance is not tied to specific genres, disciplines or movements but to an uncompromising attitude towards rethinking established notions about art and music.

Each night features a host of bands, leading musicians and performing artists including:

Adam de la Cour, Neil Luck, Federico Reuben, ARCO collective, Sam Belinfante, Fiona Bevan, Rebecca Birch, Benny the Clown, John Edwards, Alexander Hawkins, Kinderfarten, Mark Knoop, Lore Lixenberg, Bruce Mclean, Claudia Molitor, Mowgli, and many more.

Also, during the afternoon of the 22nd, come and share with us an FREE informal family friendly gathering with games, performances and food.

The event will be held at the Old Deptford Police Station, 14 Amersham Vale, London SE14 6LG
