Brockley Bridge Club
Kate writes:My housemate Sam and I moved to Brockley last year and we'd like to meet some of our fellow neighbours. We would also like to learn to play bridge and we are looking for people that might want to learn with us.
We are thinking we could meet up at Jam Circus (or similar) for a glass of wine and a game of cards. I am wondering if Brockley Central readers are interested in playing?
If you would like to take part in the Brockley Bridge Club, email us at Brockley Central and we'll connect you with Kate.

I'd prefer a poker club
Has anyone seen my Bishop?
Is this some sort of code?
I just lost the game...
There's going to be a poker tournament in the Telegraph Hill Festival.
There's already a poker club of sorts. Follow @brockleypoker on Twitter for more details.
We also need a club campaigning for proper anti-fouling netting under the bridge and a bright new colour scheme...
All we need now is for Omar Sharif to move to Brockley.
I didn't want to be a slave to any passion anymore. I gave up card playing altogether, even bridge and gambling - more or less. It took me a few years to get out of it.
Mornington Crescent.
New round beginning with 'Brockley Lane'.
Liquor in the front, poker in the rear
Mornington Crescent the Lou Baker edition of stations that are in places where no one wants to go to, where you can only take trains that go to places no one wants to go to.
What about games of cribbage or even mahjong (only played that a couple of times)?
Ah, now mahjong is fun - who can resist collecting a pung of the East Wind or a kong of green dragons. And the tiles are so pretty and tactile. Have set will travel...
