New Cross Community Social

The New Cross chapter of Transition Towns is organising a series of regular get-togethers for community groups from New Cross, Deptford and Brockley.

They meet every 4th Wednesday of the month at Amersham Arms at 7.30pm, upstairs. They say:

Calling everyone who cares about their community in SE14, SE8 or SE4 - community workers, campaigners, volunteers, public service workers, environmentalists, political activists and everyone else. Come and socialise, have a drink and network with other people involved with similar work.

Montage Theatre Arts launches Adult Musical Theatre Course

Fun, friendly classes to develop vocal and movement self-confidence with two West End tutors. Starts 7.15pm, Tuesday 27th April 2010 and runs for 11 weeks including an end-of-term performance. Prendergast – Hilly Fields College, Adelaide Avenue, Brockley, SE4 1LE. Fee: £65 or £30 concession.
