Slater & King Unleashed, October 15th

New shop Slater & King has brought its protracted flirtation with the people of Ladywell to an end by revealing what it will actually be selling.

A sign has gone up in its window confirming the rumours that it will sell "an eclectic mix of original art, limited edition screen prints and vintage gifts, cards and wrapping paper."

Slater & King will open on October 15th and is located at 46 Ladywell Road.

Reckon there's a market for that. I'll be making use of it anyway.

Vintage gists are nice. I gave someone an old pair of socks once.

Ah, Ladywell does need a "Blondes of a Certain Age"

I wonder if they'll do framing as well. I was at the picture framers on Lewisham Way last Saturday and the queue was out the door and just kept growing; there's certainly a demand for it.

The sign on the door of Slater & King says it's also home to some form of cupcake emporium, so those of us who use both Crofton Park and Ladywell high streets are going to have to watch our waistlines.

We would just like to wish Slater & King all the very best for their new venture.
It's great to see the old Nightwatch unit finally refurbished. It certainly brightens up the parade and is yet another improvement to Ladywell.

Great news. I hope they'll sell local designer makers goods there, too, rather than just Made in China stuff...
