Bohemia Hair is now open. The Mantle Road salon had its first day of trading yesterday and is offering Brockley residents a 25% discount on their first visit cuts and colours.

Took a couple of walks to find as I didn't know the number Mantle road. It's almost under the bridge, 1 of 3 units in the grey building behind the station. Finally a hairdressers in the area I will be happy to go to. The interior was lush, my haircut and colour was fantastic. I really enjoyed spending time there. I will come back again. They even let me change the music. Pumping dance music isn't exactly the relaxing Saturday music of choice. They were so good about it and I spent the last hour in bliss. Go see this great place for yourself!
Had my first cut at Bohemia Hair with Michael, who was very patient and did a lovely job with a notoriously difficult head of hair. And for half the price I normally pay!
He didn't recoil in horror when I asked if they do kids' hair either...
Had my hair cut today, with Tilly. She did a wonderful job, very professional, good music, good coffee and a very good head massage as well as a decent hair cut!!
I will be happy to go again - it was mug cheaper than my normal hairdressers, it's the best hairdressers I hav experienced outside the city!
I had my highlights done at Bohemia with Michael the weekend before last. He was lovely and did a wonderful job! Gorgeous salon too - very pleased.

Without a doubt the best Hairdressers in Brockley by far - and I have tried them all. Lovely staff, lovely interior and most important of all the best haircut I have had in years. I would highly recommend this salon and you get 25% off your first visit. Its local and its lovely - please support them!
Excellent that there is another good hair salon in Brockley but can I put in a plug for Heat salon on Brockley Road? Mandy the stylist is fantastic.
Heat is a very unprofessional salon and they have given me a few dodgy hair dos. I wouldn't recommend. Bohemia hair is good, very happy with my cut.
Agree - would not recommend Heat - nice people but not good haircuts or surroundings, sorry. Bohemia is number 1.......
I have also tried out a couple of local hairdressers in recent times, and Bohemia wins hands down. Best cut I've had in ages, fantastic colour and lovely customer service. Big, big thumbs up.
I had my haircut there today by a guy who's name I don't know ( slim bloke with glasses) . It's the worst cut I have ever had. An absolute mess. I wonder if this bloke is even qualified?! I got a refund as i wouldn't trust them to try and fix it. I had a bad feeling before I got in the chair and it's a lesson in following your instincts. My hair looks like it's been hacked! I can't speak on the other hairdressers but this guy should be avoided! (or sacked) Very angry as I have to now go else where in the hope it can be fixed.
I just had my hair cut there this evening. It is a total mess. The supposed layering is like a large step at the back of my head. I am now going to have to book another appointment in my previous hairdresser to sort it out. I doubt I'll ever go back there.
Disappointed
I had my hair stylised in Mad-men style back in December and the guy at Bohemia salon did a great job for a reduced price of £15. I would definitely go there again for a hair cut. The salon is relaxing and comfortable.
I would like to know if you do any kind of hair?!As many white people salon dont do black african hair!
They knew what they're doing. Comfortable and relaxing experience. Not too expensive for what you get. Would definitely recommend.
