Brockley MAX programme now available

The Brockley MAX 2012 programme is now live on the Brockley MAX website.

This year's festival spans 20 venues and takes in the delights of Honor Oak for the first time as HOP Scotch gets in on the act. Newcomers The Gantry and Pistachios in the Park will also act as host venues.

We'll preview some of this year's highlights, later this month.

Yikes! I hope there's an alternative venue for those last two in case of delays... Pistachios in particular seems ambitious

Ooh, The Brockley Guitar Circle, Excellent.

Seven guitarists playing improvised music influenced by Reich, Riley and Jeffes.

Sounds interesting!

Saturday 2nd June, St Hildas Church, 15:00-16:30, Free.

Full Disclosure - That's my group.

Sorry for such a long post, but we have had very little response for volunteers (and Cat Man, please get in touch re the marquee).

Firstly, ‘Like’ our Facebook page and be in with a chance of winning a ticklet to Brockleywood Nights film night (on Sunday 3 June), or a children’s workshop ticket for Art In The Park on 9 June!

The next public meeting will be on Tuesday 8th May at Jam Circus from 7.00pm so if you want to collect some posters and programmes, or find out more about how you can help out, please come along!

The printed programmes are arriving on Friday, so I will deliver by Saturday to the collection points of The Broca Food Market in West Brockley, Magi’s Brockley Cross, Jam Circus in Crofton Park, Hopscotch CafĂ© in Honor Oak and Geddes Hairdressers in Ladywell. Please sign up for 30 mins to an hour and deliver some (see below). I also need someone to hand out programmes at the Brockley Food market from 10 -12pm on Saturdays as I can do from midday. Please let know.

To deliver to their roads and at the stations And early next week, I’ll need help putting the banners around the area (about an hour). I need someone who is able-bodied! contact
